Jim was born October 23, 1960, in Red Bank, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Stevens and Mary McCloskey Stevens. Also, by his sister, Susan Lugo. He is survived by his loving wife, Noel, and his loving son, Jesse. Also, by his brothers Harold, Michael and Tim, and his sisters Martha and Mary.
Jim will always be remembered for his great love for Noel and Jesse. He had a way of seeing humor in almost everything and could come up with a witty comment. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jim successfully ran James Stevens Wallcovering, a premier wallcovering company in San Antonio. He was an avid golfer and a lifelong Cowboys fan. He also had a great love for all his pets – dogs, cats, birds and hamsters.
A visitation and service will be held to honor Jim on Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave. The memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
