James William Strahan, Sr., 86, of Quihi, Texas passed away on March 22, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Betty; children Connie & Dan Stipp; Rebecca & Jim Benner; James & Vickie Strahan; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Deberah Sue. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at Sunset Funeral Home. The retired San Antonio police officer will be buried on Wednesday, March 25, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Le Parc Safe Haven in Castroville or Bethesda Temple in San Antonio.
