Major James L. Wagner USAF Ret, age 81, born on October 25, 1919, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died on August 16, 2001 at home in San Antonio, TX, from Progressive Supranuclear Palsey. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Major and served in the World War II and Korean War. Survivors: wife of 53 years, Margie Ann Wagner; daughters, Laurel McCurdy and Carol Hitchler, both of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Daphne McCurdy Jaklitsch, M.W. Si McCurdy III, Andrew McCurdy, Charity McCurdy, Jamie Hitchler, Stephanie Hitchler, and Wagner Hitchler; brother, Jack Wagner, Roswell, GA.
