Jamie Louise Waldrup Stewart

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Lee Stewart of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Kaye Waldrup Bender of Terry, MS; three children, Felecia Cheryl Fitzgerald of Houston, TX; Jeffrey Blaine Rushing of Houston, TX and Lori Lee Howard of Clovis, NM; and, by five grandchildren, Chelsea Howard and Morgan Howard of Clovis, NM; Ashley Rushing and Shelby Rushing of Houston, TX and John Fitzgerald of Houston, TX.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX as well as a long standing member of the San Antonio Music Teachers Association. She taught private piano lessons for more than 30 years. Mrs. Stewart also served as the organist for the Fort Sam Houston Academy Chapel for several years, as well as in many local churches throughout the area. Her love of music and her commitment to her music students were the sustaining forces in her life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church.
