Jan Alison Wilson

At the age of 5, Jan moved to New Jersey with her family. Jan earned a Bachelor’s degree from Misericordia University in Pennsylvania. She later moved to San Antonio and earned her Master’s degree in education. She loved working as a schoolteacher in the San Antonio area for a number of years before embracing her passion for dogs, particularly Shetland sheepdogs. She always had fresh flowers in her house, and had a particular talent for growing huge, beautiful orchids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Deaunne Bonda, and her loving and devoted husband, Charles Bryan Willis Wilson. Jan is survived by son, Ryan McManus; stepson, Kevin Wilson (Stephanie); step-daughter, Kristen Gruene; brother, Craig Bonda (Mary); 5 grandchildren, Skyler Garcia-Crabb (Christian), Storm Wilson, Alex Wilson, Hannah Gruene, and Charlie Gruene; great-granddaughter Alexandra Garcia-Crabb; nephews David Harrell and Matthew Mikos; and niece Regina Higgins.
