She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest H. Horton, Sr., and is survived by their four children: Ernest H. Horton, Jr. (Frisco); C. Peter Horton (San Antonio); Susan H. Pierrel (Conroe); Nancy H. Bergmann (San Antonio) and a brother John L. Hamlin (North Carolina), along with many other relatives and friends.
She was born in Danbury, CT, and grew up in Garden City, Long Island, NY. Jane and her husband, Ernie, moved to Texas in 1950 and they resided in the Texas/Louisiana area ever since.
Olmos Park was their home for almost thirty years before moving to The Forum Lincoln Heights in 2005.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
