Jane V. Huff

Jane V. Huff, age 94, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2017 in Corpus Christi. She was born in Kansas City, MO to parents, Clyde C. and Mildred (Chambers) Vandiver. Jane attended Christian College and University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority; Chapter AL of PEO Sisterhood and an Elder in Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Jane met her husband, Harry, at University of Missouri and dedicated herself to him from day one. He made the military his career and Jane was the perfect officers' wife. She made every house a home for her family and made sure they learned about the area wherever they were sent. Jane enjoyed entertaining right up till she could no longer do so and her graciousness was often noted by others.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Brigadier General Harry J. Huff, II, (US Air Force). Jane is survived by her sons, Harry J. Huff, III and his wife Henrietta "Quetha" and Thomas V. Huff; best friend, Beverly Fuos; god-daughter Jayme Pressley; and care taker, Louise Canales.
