I just heard about Jane's passing. I worked with Jane at Heart and Vascular. She was a loving and caring person and loved her family and pets. My birthday is close to Jane's and we would always go out for a birthday dinner when we worked together. I know she is in Heaven and will watch over us all.

I want you to know that I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your Mother being a wonderful person, always with a smile on her face. I only knew her thru my mom,Linda Reynard. But the time I spent with her was all good! I was touched that Lindsay hugged me at the viewing and remembered the one time I went shopping with her, Jane, and my mom. Our shopping trip is a fun memory for me to have that I will cherish. You all seem to be such amazing people, with amazing strength! I know in the coming times it will be hard to find that strength, but I know that Heavenly Father will be there to help you. You all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Jane was one of my best friends in high school. She, along with Sandy Ward - the three of us were always together. I have so many memories of staying over at Jane's house, taking baths together!, laying out in the sun, riding around in Sandy's car, talking on the phone, trading clothes, and just generally being teenage girls in high school together. I just found out about her death less than an hour ago, so I am still in shock. I've spent that hour looking at the 1966 high school yearbook and all of Jane's pictures. I really can't believe it, and I am so sad. I mirror the comments of Betsy Ill - I won't be able to drive by that house on Blackhawk Road anymore without feeling a tremendous sense of loss. My prayers go out to all of her family; may you be comforted as I was when I read all the comments that she knew Jesus and is in his presence now.

My name is Herb but eveyone new me as Bryan. I grew up with Jane and Mike and David was the pesky younger brother. I was shocked at the announcement in the paper of her passing. Jane was best friends with my first wife Vicky and we kept in touch until my marriage ended some thirty years ago. I called her last year out of the blue to find her brother Mike. We talked for over an hour and caught up on a lifetime of missed experiences. Jane from the first time I met her when I was but a boy was one of the nicest people I have ever known. In looking at her picture I can see her mother. Just thinking of Jane takes me to many good places. When she and her brothers and all of our friend were young and dumb. I will say a special prayer for Jane and all of you this holiday season. She is awaiting all of you in a better place. While I have never met you I would like to attest that our conversation centered on her greatest acheivements in life. Wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Having spent 2 yrs/ of my life in Texas, there were those I met who made a difference. Jane's warmth was evident the moment my missionary compainion Elder Stewart and I entered the room. I don't know that Jane will ever be aware of all the lives she touched, and just how far reaching it was. My warmest thoughts go out to her family... esp. Lindsey, she seemed to have so much of her Mother's kindness in her... such a rare quality that no doubt put Jane right by our Heavenly Father's side.

We will miss Jane as she touched our hearts with her kindness. She was my cousin close to my age and even though we didn't see each other often we always had so much fun when we were together. Life took the two of us on our own paths and a few months ago we became close again through emails. Her love and pride for her family poured out to me in her emails as we caught up on the years. I am so sorry we had to lose her but I know Jesus has comforted her in his arms and he will help us in this very difficult time without her.

I never saw Jane without a smile on her face or without her arms open to give me a hug. She always had a sparkle in her eye and a zest for life that brightened the cloudiest day. What an incredibly beautiful woman! A few years ago, Jane gave me a Santa mug filled to the brim with Hershey's kisses. I drink hot chocolate from that mug year round and think of my loving, sweet, patient friend every time I use it. I feel as though I'm being wrapped in a warm blanket. Jane, you are so loved by your family and by your many, many friends. We miss you, but we know that you are now in the loving arms of the Savior and that one day we will see your smiling face and hear your laughter again.

Jane will be remembered by all of as being one of the most upbeat and uplifting people to be around with her bubbling personality and love of people. She cared so much about her family and friends. Her granddaughter was the light of her life. As a close friend to Jane, I will truly miss her warming spirit and the cute, funny way she could word a little joke to make me laugh. Just a few days before her untimely death, she sent me the funniest Christmas card about an elf that had directions on how to use a balloon to do snow blowing with. I laughed so hard! Only Jane could find 
a funny card like that! Jane loved serving her Heavenly Father in any way she could. She was always looking out for anything she could do for someone. She loved Christmas and I have such fond memories of she and I making Christmas sweatshirts decorated with fun Santas and reindeer and then trying to sell them in a booth there in San Antonio; it was great fun! Oh, how I will miss her! Her e-mails were so fun and uplifting right up to her death. I've lost a wonderful friend, but am thankful she is now at peace with our Heavenly Father.

Jane Stephens was one of the most beautiful ladies I have ever known. We have had the blessing of sharing a beautiful Granddaughter, Logan Lee. Jane was truly an angel on earth always thinking of others with her magnificent, charming and giving personality. Unfortunately for those of us who remain, there will forever be a nagging void in our lives. God Bless you, Jane. You will be tremendously missed.
