Janet was a forever dear friend. She always sent me Christmas cards,. We had great laughs remembering good times when she was in town.  We  enjoyed playing on the girls basketball team together ( she was a far better player than me). She got me a blind date for homecoming as we were both in the royalty. She was queen and I was first runner up!  We laughed about her doing good deeds for me and all our fabulous experiences together at Holy Name.  I will miss her greatly 😢

Aunt Jan was such an amazing and phenomenal woman.  She was always so positive and radiated pure joy.  She had the most incredible laugh that instantly made you smile.  She lit up every single room she entered.  She had such a light, happy spirit that radiated warmly through your soul.  There was so much about her that I hope I can copy and have people remember me for.  I love you, my gorgeous Aunt Jan!

Chuck am saddened to hear about your loss. Janet was a great positive person. I am so glad to have talked with her a few months ago. And I treasure our high school memories. I will always remember her hearty laugh. I will have my brother Fr Bernie Carlin CsSR  in the redemptorist community in  Missouri say a special mass for Janet and your family. God bless.

As a long-time classmate of Janet's at Holy Name, us guys often considered Her as one of the best athletes in our class. We had an all-girls touch football game (Juniors vs Seniors?) that ended 6-0 with Janet diving over the line onto the Field Huse Gym floor for the win!

Chuck, Meagan, and A.J., sorry to hear of Jan's passing.  I know it is a tough time, but hope you are all doing OK otherwise.  Will keep you all in my prayers especially during this Easter Season.

Anyone that knew Jan, loved her laugh - it was huge, it was infectious.  She loved chatting with people and it rewarded her with a very successful 30+ year cosmetics career at Brandeis.
For over 50 years, her younger sister Cristina and I have been best friends. We both idolized Jan, she was beautiful and very stylish. We were thrilled when she shared beauty secrets and provided the loving attention only an older sister can give. She wasn't embarrassed to spend time with us 'kids' and a favorite memory is going to Merritt's Beach in her little red convertible. Jan was always fun. I always enjoyed time at Jan's home, she always had to feed you and she was an absolutely fabulous cook.
Lots of great memories of Jan and her family. She was protective of them all.  Quietly proud of her 'cocky' brother Larry, a 'stand in' mother to Doug & Gary, bursting with happiness and pride at her daughter's wedding and lovingly concerned with her handsome wild son. She never failed in her devotion to her 'forever dancing partner', and husband.
Jan was fun, she was honest and she was a true person. She will be missed, but the memories are sweet and enduring. RIP

My Aunt Jan has always been loving, kind, and accepting.  She rarely if at all complained about anything in seriousness.  Anything that had a serious tone was concluded with a sense of humor.  And her cherry chocolate cake with that firm layer of frosting tasted absolutely fantastic - the texture, moistness, and taste would send your taste buds sky high!

Best picture!!   Auntie Jan and her sister Auntie Cris.   That night was full of laughter, love, fun and family.   I think about her all the time.  She took me to food city and I had hot chocolate and the most whip cream a cup could handle. I still drink it that way.   The laugh she had will never be forgotten.
