On Monday, April 9, 2012, the sweet, gentle, loving life of Janice Lauren Weichert Moore can to an end and now she sleeps in the arms of her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Janice was born in New Braunfels, TX to the late Edwin Weichert and Willie Mae Schoenemann Weichert on July 22, 1946. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin; sister, Carol Trevino; son, Dudley Franks; mother-in-law, Lou Ann Parks; and niece, Cassandra McDonald. She is survived by her husband, Daryl Moore; son, David Franks; mother, Willie Mae Sherwood; stepson, Daryl J. Moore and wife Tamara; stepdaughter, Christy Lou Ann Moore and eight grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 9:45am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
