Janie was a kind and generous woman who loved life. Her door was always open and, she was always cooking her delicious dishes and her warm tortillas.
Janie worked for many years as a supervisor at GOODWILL Industries nurturing her firm belief in giving back to her community and being a role model for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Alfred P. Garcia. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Guadalupe Torres Jr., Marianna Cedillo, Teofila Melendez, and Amelia Martinez.
Janie is survived by her four children: John Anthony Garcia, Marie Antoinette Ayala husband, Caesar, Elizabeth Christine Guajardo husband, Robert, Patricia Anne Abrego husband, Ruben. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: John Anthony Garcia Jr., Marina Eva Garcia, Eric Lee Abrego, Ashley Marie Ayala, Alison Michelle Ayala, and two great grandchildren: Zaine Herring and Dean Bolding.
