Janie Garcia

Janie was born in Fabens, Texas to Ramon and Pilar Ortega on May 15, 1932. She married Arnulfo L. Garcia on November 24, 1954 in San Antonio, Tx.

Janie Garcia is preceded in death by husband Arnulfo L. Garcia, son Danny Ray Garcia, grandson Mario Garcia, Brother Carlos Ortega, Sisters Esperanza Gallegos and Josephine Limon.

Janie is survived by Sons Arnulfo Garcia, Jr and wife Dalia Garcia, Eddie Garcia and wife Ida Garcia. Brothers Ramon Ortega, Simon Ortega and Manual Ortega and sisters Maria Estella Carrillo and Carmen Ruelas. Grandchildren, Anthony Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Mark Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, Carlos Garcia, Jacob Garcia, and Priscilla Ruiz. and great-Grandchildren Melody Ruiz, Natalie Ruiz, Israel Garcia, Emma Marie Garcia, Jayden Garcia, Jordan Garcia, Jayce Garcia, Mikaela Garcia, Kayla Pilar Garcia, Aliyah Jennifer Garcia, Danielle Rae Garcia, Isaac Garcia, Chole Garcia, Christina Garcia, Xavier Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Jr, Angelina Garcia, Chris Garcia and Adrian Garcia.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Carlos Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Jonathon Garcia and Mark Garcia.

Visitation will be held at 4:30pm on Tuesday, July 7th at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 7th at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home with the Pastor Raul Ramirez of Hope Family

Center Church officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park on Wednesday 12pm on July 8th. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
