

Jason Allen Christensen, beloved father, son, brother and uncle, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the age of 36. Jason was born on August 11, 1984 in San Antonio, TX to parents, Robert and Lillie Christensen.
Jason grew up in San Antonio, and graduated from Health Careers High School in 2002. He moved to San Diego, CA in 2005. Jason returned to San Antonio in 2009, and started his family and career in the years that followed. Jason began working at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio Hotel in 2015, and continued working there until the time of his death.
Jason was a kind, caring and thoughtful person. He was an avid reader, and he loved to learn. He enjoyed music, playing video games, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Jason will be remembered for his altruistic nature, his love of his family, his sharp wit and his keen sense of humor.
Jason was preceded in death by his father Robert Christensen, Sr., his paternal grandparents Harold and Carmen Christensen, aunt Toni Christensen, uncles Michael and Joel Christensen, his maternal grandparents Hermon and Rosa Ford and by his aunt and godmother Alice Aldrich. Jason is survived by his children Trever and Calliope Christensen, their mother Kendra Facundo, his mother Lillie Christensen, brother Robert Christensen, Jr., sister Ivy Christensen-Ramos (Louis Ramos), nephews Nikolas Rios and Louis Ramos, niece Olivia Ramos and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In keeping with Jason’s loving and generous spirit, his final selfless act was to give the gift of life through organ donation so that others could live.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, June 18,
2021, at the chapel at Porter Loring Mortuary with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
