

Jason, 34, was born April 3, 1969 in McAllen and lived most of his life in Houston but traveled extensively through Mexico, South America, Europe and Japan for his education, work and pleasure. He graduated in 1987 from Alief Hastings High School, in 1991 from Baylor University and in 2001 from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management.
He worked briefly in Spain before gaining employment with Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Chase Manhattan Bank and JP Morgan Chase Bank in Houston.
Remembered for his broad smile and uncommon warmth, Jason loved God, his mother and family, his friends and acquaintances and the great state and country that nourished them all.
He lived life richly and well and leaves a legacy of compassion that will not be forgotten. Praise be to God. Thank you precious son, dear brother and beloved friend.
Preceded in death by his father, Bruce DeLecour, Jason is survived by his mother, Carolyn DeLecour, of San Antonio; his grandmother, Joyce DeLecour, of Harlingen; his grandfather, William T. Pack, of Corpus Christi; three aunts and uncles, Maxa Montfort, of Chanhassen, Minn., Lisa and William M. Pack of San Antonio and Angie and David T. Pack of Richwood; and three cousins, Taylor A. Pack of San Antonio, Regan A. Pack of San Marcos and Shauna M. Pack of Richwood.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Rafiki Foundation Inc., a Christian orphanage and school in Africa, at 19001 Huebner Road #2, San Antonio, 78258-4040.
