Jean was a member of Bethany Methodist Church and kept a loving and attentive eye on her close neighbors. She was never shy about expressing her feelings and was a warm and honest friend and good neighbor. She expressed her love of animals by being a devoted provider of bird seed for her winged friends and cat food for the local felines fortunate enough to find their way to her back door.
