

She was born in Laredo, Texas on January 16, 1924 to parents, Alden B. Muller and Mildred Cable Muller. Her entire childhood was spent in Laredo, and as a teenager she opened her own dance studio.
When the United States entered the war in 1941 she quit teaching dancing and joined the American Red Cross motor corps servicing military vehicles.
On a blind date she met a very handsome young aviator temporarily stationed in Laredo. They fell in love and Jean and Bill Pearson married on her 19th birthday in 1943. They then spent over 68 years together until his death in October 2011 at age 94.
Throughout their Air Force career, they were stationed at some wonderful locations to include Bermuda and Tokyo, Japan. She was very active in the Officers' Wives' Club activities.
After retirement they spent many years in Florida and the mountains of Western North Carolina before relocating to Air Force Village in San Antonio, Texas in 2002.
Jean is survived by her two sons, Bill, Jr. and wife, Carole; Bob and wife, Cynthia; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
Inurnment in Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
