Jean Gillis Rich

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 11:00 am March 16, 2016 at Porter Loring Chapel – North, 2102 N. Loop 1604 E. in San Antonio, Texas.

"Nana" was a loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and had a wonderful circle of dear friends. She lived her life for her family teaching the meaning of absolute and unconditional love. Always fiercely independent, Nana was ready for the next activity or event, whether a card game, wedding, or travel.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ralph Louis Rich, her parents, father Bertram Gillis, step father and mother Ronald and Gwyneth Gillis Gray and sister Ann Gillis Storrs.

Nana is survived by three sons, David Louis Rich of Clear Lake; Dr. Christopher John Rich and wife Vickie of Alexandria, Louisiana; and Anthony Paul Rich of Houston and fiancé Fran Chambers; and Saundra Rich; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother John Gillis and sister Joy Poulain, both of England.
