Jeaneatte Rosario Lopez was born on Dec 2, 1957 and she went to be with the Lord on Jan 3, 2014. Jeaneatte was born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, and she is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico. Jeaneatte worked as a Registered Nurse in Puerto Rico before she decided to serve our country in the United States Army as a Captain in the Army Nurse Corp. While on active duty she had worked at Military Hospitals located in San Francisco, Washington DC, and Germany, and she is also a Desert Storm Veteran.
Jeaneatte is preceded in death by her parents Manuel Antonio Rosario and Ernestina Villanueva. Jeaneatte is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Manuel “Manny” M. Lopez, their sons Francisco 25, who is proudly serving our country the United States Air Force, Angel 21, who is attending Abilene Christian University, and Omar 15, who is a student in the NISD, Daughter-in-Law Aisha Lopez, and her precious 2 year old Granddaughter Sa’mya. Jeaneatte has four surviving sisters Wanda Rosario, Lilian “Lillie” Tellado and Jeanie Rosario all of Puerto Rico, and Maria “Angie” Earp of Virginia. Jeaneatte had been a full time civilian Nurse at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) and she worked in the General Surgery Dept. where she was fondly referred to as J Lo. Jeaneatte had worked as a Registered Nurse for a total of 30 plus years. Jeaneatte was loved by her family and friends, and she will forever be missed, and never forgotten. May Jeaneatte rest in peace.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Jan 13, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, Jan 14, 2014, at 12:00 am Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
