Jeanette Chadwick

Jeanette Chadwick, born August 12, 1924, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Gladys Williams Chadwick and John Breeden Chadwick, went to be with her Lord on June 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents; her cousin, Dr. Donald Foster Williams and extended family member Inez Foster.

Jeanette dearly loved her family and is survived by her cousins George M. Williams, Jr. and wife, Barbara; Cynthia Williams; Dr. Williams' widow, Mary Burke Williams; nieces Elizabeth Brewer and husband, Alan, and Linda Redstone and husband, Michael; nephews Scott Williams and wife, Jeananne, and Chad Williams. Other family includes her great nieces Sarah Brewer, Wendy Williams, Emily Redstone and Gillian Redstone and great nephews Kevin Williams, Scott Brewer and Nicholas Redstone.

She loved and embraced life and her loved ones with exuberance and joy.

The family is especially grateful for the love and support Jeannette enjoyed from her special friends, Linda Yglesias, Martha Gonzales and Manuela Trevino. In addition, Jeanette delighted in visits from First Baptist Church TV Ministry Chaplain, Julie Webster, and the prayers and notes she received from church members.

We also extend our gratitude to VITAS Hospice for their attentive care and concern for Jeanette over the last year.

In lieu of flowers, gifts made to the TV Ministry of First Baptist Church, 515 McCullough, San Antonio, TX 78216, would be appreciated. The worship services Jeanette enjoyed via television were one of the highlights of her week.

A private family graveside service is planned.
