Jeanne Nierman

Mrs. Nierman graduated from Ball High School in Galveston. She received a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas in 1949 in Chemistry. She moved to San Antonio in 1953 and did medical research at S.W. Research Foundation until 1958 when she moved to N.Y. and furthered her career. She moved to Chicago in 1963 where she continued her work in medical research.

In August of 2007 she moved to San Antonio to be with her family. She was very family oriented and loved celebrating occasions and spending time with the three generations, particularly her great nieces and nephew. The family is very saddened that her time with us was cut short by the occurrence of cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Joseph Nierman; and niece, Helen Terry Dubinski.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Gerald Dubinski; nephews, Gerald Dubinski, Jr. and his wife, Joy, and Steven Dubinski and wife, Cyndee; great nieces and nephew, Nancy Dubinski, Marilyn Dubinski, Alice Dubinski, Alisa Dubinski and Andrew Dubinski.
