Jeffrey David Rose

Jeffrey David Rose, 49, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. Jeff was born on Father's Day, June 17, 1962. He was an amazing husband, dad, brother, son, friend, and veterinarian. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University and Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, and owned City Veterinary Hospital; taking care of beloved pets- and the people who owned them.

Jeff's favorite thing to do was to spend time with his girls. He loved being with friends and family, playing and watching sports, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Luther Rose. Jeff is survived by his wife, Kimberly Rose; daughters, Kirstin Michelle, and Erin Brooke Rose; parents, LTC (Ret.) James and Beverly Rose; brothers, COL (Ret.) Greg Rose and wife, Elizabeth, COL (Ret.) Scott Rose and wife, Lynne; father and mother-in-law, John and Barbara Frankhouser; brothers-in-law, John, Sean, Eric and Jason Frankhouser; and pets, Jake, Daisy, Cooper, Bonnie and Elvira.

He exemplified courage and determination in his fight against cancer and his life reminds us to greet each day with a cup of good coffee, a smile, and a hum and a whistle. We love you and miss you, Jeffrey David- and we will forget you not.
