Jennie Aono Baker

Jennie Aono Baker born October 26, 1954 in San Antonio, TX died July 1, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 27 years Roddy Baker, daughter Samantha Baker, mother Mitzi Aono, sister Chieko Jones and brother-in-law JJ Jones. She was preceded in death by her father Dusty Aono. Jennie graduated from Jefferson High School and Howard Payne University. She worked for many years in her father's business Dusty's Flowers and for the last 8 years as an Academic Counselor at Wayland Baptist University. Jennie loved to read, watch movies, travel and exercise. She was a member of First Baptist Church of San Antonio caring for children in the preschool department and participating in the music ministry of the church. Jennie will be remembered for her gentleness, laughter, skill with flowers and remarkable ability to make friends. She will be dearly missed. Her husband and daughter wish to thank all the friends and family without whose support they would be lost. You know who you are.
