My dearest Jennifer, I will miss you on the hottest days when we would stay in the pool talking and laughing for hours. I will miss you on the coldest days when neither of us wanted to venture outside for our walk. You will always be my bff. I miss you soooooooo much. You have a wonderful family that misses you also. I know you will be their guardian angel for all the years to come.

I feel truly blessed to have worked with Jennifer on Mother/Baby at Methodist Hospital. She was so sweet, smart and very witty. Lucky for me, I saw her quite a bit when I moved to L&D. She would come down to assess all the new babies. She was great with the new parents, grandparents and those babies. She would talk to them sweetly but had no problem telling them that they better warm up, stop grunting, etc. She was such a joy! My deepest sympathy to her family and friends who loved her dearly.

Jennifer was my student in Community Health Nursing. She brightened the clinical group with her ever ready smile and positive attitude. Everything she did, she did well. I was so happy when she came to teach at the HSC. Her students, who came later to my group, loved her. She cared for them and influenced each of their practice by her example of compassion and excellence. I'm so thankful for the part of her life shared with me.

To the Herin and Selvester family, I wish and hope that you will continue to keep the faith, that God will see you through this pain and agony. I'm sorry for your lost, Jennifer will always be remember here with her methodist family.

Jennifer was truly an amazing soul. Her smile was unforgettable and her passion for life was one of her greatest qualities. Her family and all that loved her are in my thoughts and prayers. I have faith they will find the strength to get through this difficult time they are faced with. I pray her children will remember her through their own memories, photographs and the wonderful stories they are told. Jennifer, you will be missed but never forgotten. We love you.

Selvester Family, You have no idea how saddened I was to hear the news about Jennifer. She was a beautiful woman and one of the nicest people I had ever run across. I had the pleasure of getting to know her and her family at Children's Lighthouse where I worked in the office and where her children attend.I got to see her quite often and know how excited she was for the birth of that baby girl. This breaks my heart! My thoughts and prayers go out to ALL of you. I know she is in good hands now and that there is a special place in heaven that awaits. I only knew Jennifer for the short time it took for her to come into the allergy clinic to get her shot, but she was a person that you instantly like. She had a very sweet smile and a kind and caring demeanor. I knew the moment I met her that she was a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family. Jennifer's time here was short, but was spent touching the lives of so many. Our lives are better because we knew her.

I did not have the pleasure of having Mrs. Jennifer Selvester as a clinical instructor in fall '09 when I had my OB rotation. However, every time I saw her she had a smile on her face. I did not know her personally but her bright, contagious personality will be deeply missed. You will all be in my prayers.

I was so very lucky to have had Mrs. Jennifer Selvester as my OB clinical instructor during the Fall 2009 semester. She was such a joy to be around and made clinical such a positive experience! She has inspired me to become a better person and future OB nurse. I know I will continue to think of her and remember what a wonderful person she was throughout the rest of my nursing career.
