Jennifer Kay Simpson

Jennifer was born in San Antonio to Alois Max Hillmeyer and Eleanor Hillmeyer on December 19, 1950. She graduated high school in 1969 at Providence Catholic in San Antonio. She married Ronald Allen Simpson in October of 1976. She was a homemaker and helped with her spouse's Sign business while raising 4 children. Later she became her mother's caregiver and earned her CNA.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her father Alois Hillmeyer; her sister Joann Hillmeyer; her mother Eleanor Hillmeyer and husband Ronald Simpson.

Jennifer is survived by her children Leanora Shay, Luella Amerson, Luke Simpson and Lucinda Brown; siblings Janet Spagnoletti, Jerry Hillmeyer and his wife Sharon Hillmeyer and Jeffrey Hillmeyer; Grandchildren Timothy Amerson III, Owen Amerson, Tiffany Spencer, Levi Shay, Kassady Simpson, Troy Simpson, Hailey Simpson, Olivia Ochoa, Clint Brown, Belle Brown and her Great grandchild Timothy Amerson IV.

A visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, located at 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238, on December 18, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary and Celebration of Life will take place at the same place at 7:00 pm.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on December 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 623 E Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78205.
