Jennifer Keath Witcher, daughter, sister, Tia, cousin, aunt, and friend, took hold of Jesus’ hand and stepped into His glorious presence on January 19, 2023. She fought bravely against the enemy of her life. Her bright light was extinguished much too early. She loved Jesus, her family, her many friends, all things Baylor, country music, and sports.
Born February 25, 1976, in San Antonio. She graduated from Churchill High School and attended Baylor University, continuing a 5-generation family tradition.
She gave her heart to Jesus in her youth and was actively involved in church youth and choir activities and continued to be a faithful member of FBC San Antonio the rest of her life.
She continued her association with NEISD being employed first in Special Education and then in Human Resources. Her favorite role was as Administrative Assistant to the legal counsel for NEISD. More than a job, her work became her calling and purpose. She thrived on the challenges of her job and enjoyed the many friendships with the people around her.
Jenn collected friends. She loved her “peeps” and her commitment to her friends was true and faithful. Her network of influence became broad and deep.
She was a Baylor fan bordering on the rabid, but her knowledge of sports was not restricted there, and she could “talk sports” with anyone. She especially enjoyed a “friendly rivalry” with non-Baylor fans matching story for story and score for score.
She is survived by her parents, Jane and Seth; her brother, Trey and sister-in-law, Abby; nephew, Gradon; nieces, Sailor and Roxy whom she adored; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved deeply and was proud to call family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to FBCSA, American Cancer Society, and NEISD Education Foundation.
