Jeremiah "Jerry" E. Vargas Sr.

Jeremiah "Jerry" Eugene Vargas Sr., 40, of San Antonio, passed away July 2, 2021. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 1, 1980 to Ernest and Kathryn Vargas. He was married to Roxanne Vargas for 19 years. Jerry had a career in maintenance working for himself. Jerry loved having fun, hanging with his family, going to the movies, going to the beach & the lake, Barbequing, drinking beer, joking around, and was always the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, daughter Angel Vargas, and many other loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife Roxanne G. Vargas; children, Viviana Rose Vargas, Jeremiah E. Vargas Jr., Nevaeh Lynn Vargas; parents Ernest and Kathy Vargas; sister Marceline Vargas; nephew Jonathan Vargas; nieces Porfelia, Victorina, and Marceline Vargas, in-laws Frank and Delma Gonzales; brother-in-laws Joseph De La Rosa and Frankie Gonzales Jr; nephew AJ Badillo; and by many cousins, aunts and uncles who love him dearly.

Services will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. 78237. A Visitation will be held Thursday, July 15 from 5:00PM to 10:00PM, with a Prayer Services to be recited at 6:30PM. A Chapel Service will follow the next day, Friday, July 16 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
