The Rev. Jerry V. Calcott, 62, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009, after a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Gertrude Calcott. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jane, and his children, Laura Calcott of San Francisco, CA. and Bryan Calcott of San Antonio. He also leaves behind many friends, relatives and fellow believers.
Calcott was a graduate of St. Mary's University and received his Masters of Divinity from Phillips University, Enid, OK, in 1987. He was ordained by the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ and served congregations worldwide for over 20 years.
Calcott centered his ministry's work on his passion for youth and for Russia where he served as a missionary to St. Petersburg's street orphans with the David Wilkerson Ministries.
