The beauty of Jerry's authenticity will be missed but ALWAYS alive in the hearts of his loyal wife Mary E. Gonzaba; his doting daughter Andrea Celeste Gonzaba, his dedicated son Shawn Jerard Gonzaba and fiancé Amor De La Vega and his one and only grandchild Ava Jiselle Gonzaba, which Jerry enjoyed chasing and showering with all his affection at his every opportunity. Jerry made a lifetime of memories shared with his siblings, Yolanda Gonzaba, James Gonzaba and wife Yvonne, Gary Gonzaba and wife Jackie, Chris Gonzaba; sister-in-law, Patricia Gonzaba; numerous nieces and nephews, and the entire staff of his FAVORITE local restaurant El Rafa's Cafe located at 1535 W. Hildebrand Ave.
Jerry was a self-driven individual with limitless creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit. He founded his own company and contributed to many others. His latest employer described Jerry as; "Persistent -He never gave up on a sales call even when the customer said no. Competitive- He always wanted to work to be #1. Tenacious- He was very determined to work hard every day and make as many sales calls as possible. Goal oriented - He knew what he wanted and he went out and got it, he was one of the top salesmen because of this quality." When Jerry was not working or involved with his family he could be found armed with a vacuum in one hand and a lawn-mower tethered to the other. He also participated in a non-profit organization through public speaking that encouraged youth to stay in school and pursue their passions.
