Jerry G. Guerrero

He is preceded in death by his birth father, Adam Guerrero, Sr. and his parents Pablo Rodriguez, Sr. and Amanda Galindo Rodriguez and maternal aunts Mamie Juarez and Dominga Davis.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 10 years, Venus Guerrero and her sons, Dennis and Vergel Rodriguez; children: Jerry Guerrero, Jr. (Diedra), Maria Elena Guerrero and Pablo Guerrero (Nanette); grandchildren, Domanic, Dylan, Deidra, Tony, Analisa, Alanis and Aaron; siblings, Adam Guerrero, Jr., Pablo Rodriguez, Jr., Mario Rodriguez, Abelino Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, Pablo Rodriguez Martinez, Jose Luis Rodriguez Martinez (deceased), and Manuela Cisneros Rodriguez; cousin, Albino Oviedo and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry is also survived by his maternal uncle Ike Saldivar Galindo and Virginia Gonzalez and various other cousins.

He was a proud veteran, serving a total of 22 years in both the Army and Army Reserve. He retired from Five Palms Elementary after teaching for 32 years. After retirement he worked at Hyatt Hill County Resort and Spa. He volunteered his time at the St. Joseph Catholic Church and he enjoyed working on his cars, traveling the world, and spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited the same evening at 6:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude at 9:00 p.m.
