Jerry graduated from the Poteet High School and was involved in the school band. He married Darlene Martin in November 1959. Jerry worked on the Missouri Pacific Railroad, Union Pacific Railroad, and Amtrak passenger train as an Engineer for 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters. Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Darlene Selby; children, Darnell and husband Byron Mack, and son, Destry Selby; grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary and Curtis Mack; brothers, Glen and wife Sharon Selby, Virgil and wife Stella Selby.
