

Gerald Jerry Anthony Timpone, affectionately known as the "Italian Stallion", went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2008 after a courageous effort in his fight with ALS. He was born in Pasadena, CA, Jerry lived most of his life in Southern California, where he graduated from Cal Poly-Pomona, with a degree in veterinary science. After graduating, he worked in various positions in real estate, including as an instructor in real estate law and ethics, worked to certify real estate agents, and also authored over a dozen books about real estate. He was instrumental in the founding of Catholic Charities in the Southern California area, and worked to raise money for toys with the Ronald McDonald House. Jerry loved to spend time with his family, golf, sports, and the simple things in life. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Marie, and her husband Chris, of Boerne, TX; his sister, Cheryl, and her husband Gary, of Carson City, NV, and his brother, Joey, and his wife Caron, from Coleville, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and colleagues. He joins his beloved parents in Heaven, Joseph and Gertrude, along with his father-in-law, Paul Johnson, and his beloved Siberian Husky, Marsha, whom Jerry loved very much, and credited for saving his life.
