

Born in Detroit, MI, Jessica grew up in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, graduating from Roland Park Country School in 1989. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, where she met her fiancé, Allen Sikes.
Together they were devoted to environmental, social and urban issues. As a Professional Engineer with Pape-Dawson, Jessica designed the Water Reuse Pipeline for San Antonio. Recently Jessica had begun working as Project Manager on the redevelopment of the Pearl Brewery Property for Hixon Properties.
Jessica enjoyed gardening, painting, drawing, photography, long walks and being with her family and friends who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Brady and her husband, Joseph; father, Dennis Zembala and his wife Ann; sister, Meg Zembala and Stephane Norbert; brother Andrew Zembala; fiancé, Allen Sikes, his parents Bill and Judi Sikes and his sister, Jennifer Farland; and grandmother Josephine Zembala
