entered into rest on October 17, 2026 at the age of 85.
Mr. Castillo was a devoted lifelong Catholic whose faith anchored every part of his life. He enjoyed Mariachi (Vicente Fernandez) music, playing the guitar and singing. His legacy will live forever in his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo Castillo and Sara Cardenas Castillo.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Ana Luisa Castillo; father-in-law, Luis Manuel Delgado; children, Esmeralda Rivera
(Albert), Susana Alejandro (Alex), Linda Castillo, Jesse Castillo Jr. (Debbie) and Luis Alvino Castillo (Yolanda); grandchildren, Jessica, Ruben, Fidel, Robby, Jackie, Jesse lI, Ashley, Luis Jr., Xavier and Sarai; great grandchildren, Dynasty, Emory, Jazzlyn, Violet, David, Derrick, Ezequiel, Jorge, Penny, Nova, Vincent, Selene, Alana, Ameris, Noah, Matthew Jr., Luis IlII, Cenaya, Ceriyah, Cesaria and Savior; siblings, Josie, Rudy, Mary and Juana.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2026 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237.
