My Dear Sweet Helen,
  
       You are in my prayers, along with your family.  I know Jesse is better off than we are.  We're grateful because we know where Jesse is.  This does not take away your pain but does ease it and now, we know he is not suffering.   
        Memories, memories, sweet, precious memories of his smiling greetings at church.  His graciousness and love were so welcome, loving, and warm as well as his hugs.
         Again, Helen, you and Jesse have been in my prayers for months and you still will be.  Take care, rest, and God Bless.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences, Mr. Davila was our bus driver as children and I was very pleased to continue to see his shining smile everytime I visited my mother at work at NEISD over the years. He was a sweet man and he always greeted me and always remebered my sister and I, I always thought that was so great. Through adversity he stayed strong and held his faith. God blessed "US" with his prescence, god bless you and your family, and god bless Mr. Davila.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jesse while he was working at Central office at  NEISD as one of our custodians. I don't remember seeing him without a smile on his face or a song in his heart. He was always in a good mood and found the good in anything bad.  He loved his wife and grandchildren and would do anything to help others around him. He was a very positive and wonderful man and we missed him when he retired. My thoughts and prayers go to his family during this difficult time. God bless all of you.

It has been many years since I saw Mr & Mrs Davila, but  Mr Davila was a very special friend to my father,, I have fond memories of the family from when I was young and my father and Mr Davila were MP's in the National Guard.
The smile I see now has never changed. 
May love and faith guide you thru this difficult time.

Dear Davila Family,
Heaven has a new angel, and what a wonderful smiling angel he is. We came to San Antonio 15 years ago and not long after that started attending Mac and one of the first people I met was Jesse.....all smiles of course. He welcomed us to Mac and from that day on, I can say I never saw him without a smile on his face. What a great man! What a great loss for those of us on earth, but one day we will have a great reunion!

Dear Jesse's Family,
It was with great sadness that I saw the obituary about Jesse in the paper today. He was the most fun person that I have had the pleasure of knowing. I taught school and drove a school bus and was at the busbarn at the same time as Jesse was. He made us laugh all the time. So full of joy and happiness and just a fun person. Please accept my deepest prayers for you all at this time and in the days and weeks to come.His smile was always so precious.
