Jesus Vicente Garcia, age 64, passed away peacefully in New Braunfels, Texas on October 13, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born in McAllen, Texas on April 26, 1956. Jesse was a loving son, husband, father, and brother who will be dearly missed.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Vicente Silva Garcia. He is survived by his mother, Maria Elena Garcia; his wife Angela Garcia; his daughters, Jessica Garcia and Nicole Duke; his siblings, Xavier O. Garcia (Julie), Carmen R. Kisner (Dan), Reynaldo R. Garcia (Michelle), Belinda L. Whaley (Mark), Anivette Y. Garcia (Mark), and Melissa I. Ciechanowicz (Adrian).

Jesse grew up in a household filled with the love of his mother father and six siblings. Jesse got to experience life outside of McAllen Texas quite often because his Father Vince was in the military. Jesse got to travel the world with his siblings and always had many stories to tell. When Jesse grew up, he had his first daughter Nicole Duke. Jesse later moved to San Marcos Texas, had his second daughter Jessica Garcia. After some time, he became a property manager at multiple housing complexes and married his wife Angela Garcia. Jesse and Angela were married for 10 years and worked together to establish JAG Enterprises. Jesse’s most recent occupation was providing handy man services as the business owner of JAG Enterprises. Besides his devotion to work and his family, Jesse enjoyed doing a variety of activities in his free time.

When Jesse was in his early adulthood, he took an interest in dirt bike racing, where he frequently had a mouth full of rocks. As Jesse grew older, he enjoyed going to the Horse Races at Retama Park in San Antonio with his daughter, and niece. He also loved to play golf with his brothers. Jesse loved the outdoors and would frequently go visit his daughter Jessica in college in Corpus Christi, but really it was to go fishing. He was also an adrenaline junky who loved to hit the theme parks in hopes of riding the biggest scariest roller coaster. Jesse and his daughter Jessica spent a lot of time at Six Flags riding the Rattler, and at Sea World riding the Steel Eel. Jesse was not only a man filled with a variety of interests, but he was also a man with a wide personality.

Jesse was a giver. There were many times that Jesse would make bags filled with food and money and hand them out to the homeless in different towns. Jesse cared so much for others and can be described as one that would take the clothes off his back to give to someone else in need. In addition to his caring personal, Jesse also loved to joke. Anytime you came into contact with him he’d say you have something on your shoulder and then say “gotcha”. Jesse loved to cracks jokes and play pranks on anyone and everyone. His laugh would fill the room, and his smile would brighten your day. He was also extremely focused, he always had to be doing something productive or he felt that he was slacking. Whether it be a home project, cleaning something, doing work, or even checking his messages he always had to be working.

Unfortunately, Jesse was diagnosed with Liver Cancer and spent 5 years ongoing a variety of treatments and medications in order to combat his sickness. Although his immune system was compromised, he continued to work harder than ever until he lost his life to his cancer.

Jesse, as described, was a devoted father and husband, a hard-working individual, and a man with a wonderful personality. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and will never be forgotten.

I thank god forgiven us a friend like Jesse. I own a cleaning service, Emily’s Cleaning &Jantorial. And we would clean the surgical center, and I have three mentally challenged children they work wit us .Every time we would See Jesse, he would always play around with my one son Bobby and tell him you got to tell your boss to give you more money all this work for very little wages you need to tell her to give you more money, and I will just crack up ,that’s what kind of a person he was always playing around with us. I could tell you that he was a hard working person and always concerned about others. He put his total devotion to the surgical center when it came to whatever they needed. We are sad, because every time we go to the surgical center I’m gonna expect him to be there and to be playing around with my son Bobby. Jesse we’re gonna miss you . May the Lord bless your family!🙏🏻 Emily
