Jesus Lucio III

Jesus was known for his vibrant personality and his ability to light up any room. He truly was the life of the party, always bringing laughter, joy, and a welcoming spirit to family gatherings and celebrations. He enjoyed barbecuing for family and friends and was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on the Houston Texans, UT Longhorns, and San Antonio Spurs. He also enjoyed watching boxing and UFC events.

Jesus cherished his family, his greatest joy in life was being “Popo” to his beloved grandchildren, a role he embraced with endless love and pride. The memories he created with them will be treasured forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Z. Lucio and Jesus Lucio Jr.

Jesus leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Blanca Lucio; son, Jesus Lucio IV and companion Marissa Mendoza; daughters, Kristen Amanda Lucio and Kimberly Nicole Lucio; grandchildren, Arian Lucio, Jesus Lucio V, Matthew Cruz Lucio, Ezequiel Carrillo III, Harlow Rain Carrillo, and Silas Jack Carrillo; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, San Antonio, Texas 78211, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, June 19, 2026, the funeral home doors will open at 8:30 a.m. A procession will depart for an 11:00 a.m. Mass at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78237. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78226.

Though deeply missed, Jesus’ legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
