Jesus Arriaga Pena, Jr.

August 14, 1952- April 19, 2019

The world lost a generous man on Friday, April 19th, 2019 at the age of 66. If you knew Jesus, you would know the first words out of his mouth when he got to the gates of heaven were Vieja! He was always asking for his wife first. He was strict, stubborn, and demanding, yet loving, funny, and caring.

His family always came first and there's nothing in the world he loved more than family vacations to Mexico. He cherished all the people he came in contact with especially his dearest friends that he worked with at Pace Picante for 13+ years, and his best friend, Jaime Villarreal. He enjoyed watching wrestling, going to Lanier football games; Go Voks!, and watching Western movies. He absolutely loved watching The Spurs and The Cowboys play while eating his Vanilla ice cream or his Butterfingers.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Manuela Arriaga and Jesus Peña Sr.; brothers: Enrique and Juan Manuel Peña. Survivors are his beautiful wife of 34 years, Ana Peña; daughters: Monica M. Peña, Jennifer Peña, Lucinda Gomez, Barbara A. Perez, and Stephanie M. Peña; son: Allen Avila; son-in-laws: William Gomez Jr., Onésimo Perez, and Marilyn "Chickie" Petty; brothers: Raul, Felix, Domingo, and Xavier; and his sister: Isabel Martinez; along with many grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25th, 2019, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.

A Mass will be held on Friday, April 26th, 2019 at 11:00 am at Divine Providence Catholic Church, followed by burial at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
