Jesus A. Soto
AUGUST 19, 1950 – SEPTEMBER 12, 2026
Jesus A. Soto, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2026. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Elva Soto, for 53 years. Jesus was an extraordinary individual and unswerving in his devotion to God, family, friends, and Country.
Jesus was the son of Delfina and Manuel Soto. He was born in El Paso, Texas, where he attended Bel Air High School, and earned his diploma. Jesus served in the United States Navy as a Data Systems Technician Petty Officer First Class. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War period. Jesus was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1979.
Jesus worked at Triad Systems Corporation, an early technology provider that manufactured and marketed computer systems for the automotive industry. Jesus and his wife moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1983 when Jesus was promoted to Regional Manager. Jesus earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1990. He also worked at Taco Cabana’s corporate headquarters in the information technology and communications department. Jesus continued his career in technology and communications for the Defense Health Agency.
Jesus was a committed member of his local church where he served faithfully. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, fishing, computers, technology, and reading the bible. Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Delfina Soto, and survived by his wife, Elva Soto. He is also survived by his sister Yolanda Soto and brother Manuel Soto.
