

Jesus “Jesse” Treviño, age 76, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. The beloved local artist is best known for his vivid paintings of westside life and for landmark works of public art throughout the city. He aspired nearly every day of his life to be San Antonio’s Artist. We will miss him more than words can convey. He was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Dolores Treviño; sisters, Evangelina Treviño Rodriguez and Elvira Treviño Limon; brothers, Pedro C. Treviño, Armando C. Treviño, Mario C. Treviño, and Jorge C. Treviño; daughter, Jacqueline Marie Treviño; and step-grandson, Vincent Colonna. Jesse is survived by his sister, Alicia Treviño Rodriguez (Abraham); brothers, Ramiro C. Treviño (Ofelia), John C. Treviño (Patricia), Robert C. Treviño, and Ernest C. Treviño (Terry); children, Jessica Treviño Brodman (Andrew), Jesse Ladshaw Treviño, David Treviño, Carolina Treviño; stepdaughter; Joanna Deleon Colonna; grandchildren, Devin and Alexis Brodman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
