Jesusita "Susie" Ochoa, born Christmas Day 1922, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 9, 2017. Born and raised in San Antonio, she met her husband, Baldemar Ochoa, who precedes her in death. Together, they moved to California performing as a singing duo. They finally settled in San Antonio and performed for over 30 years. Being a two-time breast cancer survivor along with her sister and niece, she was a strong advocate for breast cancer awareness and prevention. Susie lived a selfless and charitable life without expecting anything in return. Her unconditional love and support towards her family and friends will be sorely missed. We celebrate her wonderful life of 94 years and thank God for allowing us to experience her love and generosity. The family would also like to thank Kindred Hospice for their compassionate care of our beloved aunt.
