

He was born on April 12, 1924, in Gatesville, Texas. Following graduation from Central Catholic High School in 1941, he proudly served as an aviation machinist in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Mr. Pearson was a member of Carpenter Local 14 in San Antonio and a lifetime Elks Club member in Galveston Lodge #126. During the 1950's, he was a motor patrol officer for the San Antonio Police Department. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who taught his sons the value of hard work. Mr. Pearson and his wife recently returned to San Antonio after 30 years in Houston.
He is survived by a large and loving family, his wife of 45 years, Dorothy A. Pearson; children, James Thomas Pearson and wife Tammy of San Antonio, William Archie Pearson of Buda, Lawrence Edward Pearson and wife Donna of San Antonio, Donald Lee Pearson and wife Tracy of Manvel, Sandra Lumley and husband Lynn Lueders of Austin, and Karol Schreiner of Hunt; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and brother, Buel E. Pearson and wife Delores of San Antonio.
