Jimbo retired from Procter and Gamble after 37 years as a salesman. He was an accomplished all around outdoorsman and devoted family man and friend.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Voyce Beard, and mother, Margaret Reardon Beard.
Jimbo is survived by his wife of three years, Loretta Beard; son, Michael Kevin Beard and wife Annette; son, Mark Keith Beard and wife Maggie; grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Andrew and Sydney; stepson, Robert Meckel; stepdaughter, Tammy Burns and husband Darrell; stepson, Luke Whelchel and wife Melissa; and six step-grandchildren, Brianna, Ryan, Justin, Russell, Colin and London.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8115 Datapoint Dr., San Antonio, TX 78229.
Services and interment will be private.
