He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Samantha, and grandson: Michael.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years: Rita; children: Tisha (Oscar), Lorrain, Jimmy Jr., Amanda, and Adriana; 8 grandchildren; brother: James (Maria); and numerous family members and friends.
Jimmy was passionate in his morals and enjoyed a good intellectual debate. He was the definition of a hard worker throughout his whole life. He made a living driving 18-wheelers, buses, trains; if it had a steering wheel, he drove it. This passion for driving led to meeting the love of his life.
Jimmy had an infectious smile that could light up any room, with his corny jokes and goofball personality. Jimmy, though he was not very good at it, loved to sing at any time of day, particularly early in the morning; he was a morning person in a house full of night owls. Jimmy loved drag racing, Dodge cars, and Widow, his brother’s Dodge Challenger. He was a huge Star Trek fan and thoroughly enjoyed the METV network, specifically the show, M*A*S*H.
Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Anyone who knew Jimmy knew he loved three things and talked about them constantly: his cars, his family, and most of all, his Rita. He will be greatly missed.
