Born on October 2, 1953, in Waco, TX, Jo Beth was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her, embodying the essence of creativity, love, and spirit throughout her 70 years of life.
Jo Beth was a lifelong educator, a vocation stemming from her passion for knowledge and her desire to share it with others. Her academic journey was marked by excellence, as she earned a 4.0 in her studies. She dedicated her career to inspiring young minds, not only imparting wisdom but also nurturing the unique talents of each student she encountered. Her presence and patience changed the lives of many students.
Outside of her professional life, Jo Beth's interests were diverse and rich. She had an innate appreciation for music, photography, film, and design. Her creative flair was evident in everything she touched, elevating everyday living to an art form. Jo Beth's love for animals was profound, and she found great joy in the company of her cats, who were a constant source of comfort and happiness.
Above all, Jo Beth cherished the time spent with her family. She was a loving mother to her five children: Carey, Wesley, Sarah, Carly, and Lauren.
