Uncle Pete,Dan,Kelli,Grace,Toni,Johnny, Brittany,Kent,Emma and Ella,
On behalf of Phillip, myself , Allie ,Lauren and Phillip jr. please accept our deepest sympathy at this difficult time.
I was always in awe of my Auntie Joan as a child. She was my aunt who lived so far away but whom I always felt a connection to. My Mom would tell me that I resembled her even in my gestures. I heard so many wonderful things about her especially from her former students. When I was in grade three my favourite teacher told me that my Auntie Joan taught her and she said,in fact, that my aunt was her favourite teacher! I was very proud.
I was also told she had great fashion sense and was very beautiful. I kept an old photo album with pictures of Auntie Joan in my room and would often take it out to admire her beauty. I was so excited when I finally had the chance to meet her. We didn't get to spend a lot of time together but I certainly realized her unconditional love for her family! She was so very proud of her children and grandchildren. It was evident,as well, her love for uncle Pete. My mom and auntie Joan's friends Dot would often say what a wonderful marriage they shared. I know Auntie Joan is in a better place and I hope you all find peace in that . But I know your hearts are still broken so please know you are in our hearts and in our prayers always. God bless. ❤️❤️
