Joaquin is survived by his wife, his first love, Juana D. Gonzalez and their children: Araceli G. Gutierrez (Manuel), Leticia D. Gonzalez (Samuel), Miguel A. Gonzalez (Veronica), and Francisco J. Gonzalez (K9 Family Companion, Max), and grandchildren Lesly A. Gutierrez; Crystal N. Gutierrez, Dr. Amanda Gonzalez, Allison M. Gutierrez, and Larissa L. Gutierrez, and his siblings Emilio Gonzalez (Socorro), Rebecca G. Ortega (Antonio), Manuel Gonzalez (Irma), Gloria Gonzalez, and Irma Martinez (Victor); and many cousins and extended family members in successive generations.
