Joaquin Rodriguez

Joaquin Rodriguez went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 13th in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 18, 1934 in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico to Joaquin and Maria De La Luz Rodriguez. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Joaquin was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Rosa Rodriguez Munoz, Luzmaria Rodriguez Molina, Victoria Rodriguez Luqin; and his son, Edward Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife, Lydia; his sister, Angelica Rodriguez Molina; his children, Joaquin Rodriguez, IV, Patricia Rodriguez Cormey and her husband, Wayne, Oscar Rodriguez and his wife, Kristie; his grandchildren, Amanda Dawn Rodriguez, Michelle Leigh Rodriguez, Emily Elizabeth Rodriguez, Chelsea Marie Cormey, Oscar Rodriguez, and Gabrielle Teresa Rodriguez.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 18th from 6-9 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 19th at 11:30 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 6680 Crestway Dr, San Antonio, TX 78239. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd; San Antonio, TX 78266.
