Joe G. Ferro

Joe G. Ferro, age 94, passed away August 9, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Lytle, Texas on August 18, 1926 to Antonio and Inez Garcia Ferro. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Ferro, siblings, Mary F. Casanova, Johnny Ferro, Janie F. Mendiola, Jesse Ferro. Joe leaves behind a loving family, (His daughter's) Joan Ferro Gonzales and husband Richard, Corina Ferro Ortega and husband Robert, Francisco Lomas, Ernest Ferro, Anthony Ferro; grandchildren, Isabella Luna, Gioia Luna, Lauren Ortega, Vincent Ortega, Jake Gonzales, Justin Ferro, Jared Ferro, Savannah Ferro and Gaige Ferro; great-grandchildren, Warren Ortega, Grey Ortega, Brooklyn Ferro, Memphis Ferro, Corban Ferro and Simon Ferro.

Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. Monday, August 30, 2021 for a 9:30 A.M. mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom road, San Antonio, Texas 78251 with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Army military honors.
