Joe F. Gann, 92, died November 5, 2019. He was born November 22, 1926 in Tom Bean, Grayson County, TX.

He attended Austin College and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. He served in the U.S. Maritime Service, U.S. Merchant Marine and U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Crisis. He retired in 1992 after working over 35 years in the property and casualty insurance industry.

Mr. Gann was preceded in death by his wife, Col. Ellen J. Gann, U.S. Army Nurse Corps (Retired), his sister, Mary Sue Gann Zemanek and his brother, William C. Gann. Survivors include his sister in law, Mrs. Ruth B. Gann and his two nieces, Fran Neahusan and Marianne Zemanek, and their families.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral service.
