Joe C. Jones

Joe was born in Cordele, Georgia to Lester and Ruby Lee Jones on August 23, 1952. He married Jackie Jones on March 3, 1980, in Prince County, Maryland. He was a veteran of The United States Air Force. After retirement from the United States Air Force, he work for The United States Post Office for 18 years.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Ruby Lee Jones.

Joe is survived by his wife Jackie Jones, his children Kenneth and Brandi Jones, his siblings Tony, Ruby, Jeanette, Christine, Gloria, and Ann, and his grandson, Tiger Jones

Visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238, on April 20, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Chapel Service at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209, on April 20, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
